This page is a lexicon of all 81 figures. You can peruse them however you’d like or use the search function to find specific ones.
Please note: this page is very much a work-in-progress and will go through continuous revisions and updates as I learn more and discover more.
Core Figure Grammar
As a reminder, the key to understanding any figure is through its structure:
Elements
| Row | Domain | Element |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | awareness & intentionality | Fire |
| 2 | reasoning & classification | Air |
| 3 | emotion & raw experience | Water |
| 4 | action & physicality | Earth |
States of Being
| Value | State | Glyph |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Manifest | ![]() |
| 2 | Liminal | ![]() |
| 3 | Latent | ![]() |
Each entry starts from that structure. Its image, commentary, and divinatory meaning suggest ways the four rows might work together in a reading; the question and chart position determine how to apply them.
Preliminary Notes
Each figure is given its own special name.
The elemental signature names a suggested flavor, including a quality held in latency; it does not replace reading all four rows.
Names were chosen to preserve some abstract resemblance to the four stacked marks whenever possible. A name may come from the silhouette, the figure’s motion, the emotional impression of the pattern, or all three at once.
Each entry will always contain:
- Alternate identities
- Keywords
- Elemental signature
- Commentary
- Divinatory meaning
You may additionally find notes pertaining to:
- Qabalah
- Astrology
- Tarot
- Runes
- Chart-position
The first sixteen figures name their inherited geomantic heritage and traditional planetary or zodiacal attributions. Zodiacal comparisons for the other sixty-five figures, and every figure-level Sephirah, Hebrew-letter path, Tarot, and rune comparison, are experimental. They belong to this modern vocabulary and should be set aside if the four-row structure disagrees with them.
The Hebrew-letter endpoints here follow the Hermetic Kircher/Golden Dawn Tree, the scheme used alongside Tarot in Western esotericism. They are not placements from the Jewish trees associated with Moses Cordovero or Isaac Luria. The Hermetic letter assignments used here can be checked in this Golden Dawn path table. A figure’s Sephirah, path, and Tarot card are independent analogies, not a single inherited attribution table: the path need not touch its Sephirah or correspond to its Tarot card.
There are also proposed chart resonances.
“Strong” and “weak” chart relationships are not traditional essential dignities. They are proposed Tetriamantic resonances derived from the figure’s elemental character and the tetrahedral registers:
- A: Will / Atziluth / Fire
- B: Encounter / Briah / Water
- C: Form / Yetzirah / Air
- D: Actuality / Assiah / Earth
They are intended to work somewhat like a memorable dignity/debility system without pretending the tetrahedral chart is an astrological house system.
